Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. It is written with the Australian Privacy Principles in mind. See also our Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

ShowTime is a performance-software product made in Adelaide, South Australia, and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at support@itsshowtime.com.au.

2. What we collect

Account details — your name and email address; your password is stored only as a secure hash.
Payment details — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only a billing reference and plan status.
Your library content — the songs, charts, setlists and media you add (see our Terms; this is your content).
Usage & device data — via Google Analytics (GA4): pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type, and similar, using cookies.
Support messages — anything you send us by email or chat.

3. How we use it

To provide and run the service (your account, your library, syncing your band).
To process payments and manage your subscription/licence.
To provide support and respond to you.
To understand usage and improve ShowTime (analytics).
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies for essential functions (e.g. keeping you signed in) and for Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; analytics cookies are not essential to use ShowTime.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under their own terms:

Stripe — payment processing.
Google Analytics — website analytics.
Our hosting & database providers — to store your account and library (hosted in Australia).
Email provider — to send account and support emails.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

6. Where your data is stored & security

Your account and library are stored in a private, per-user database hosted in Australia. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. You can export your library to your own storage at any time, and you remain the owner of your content.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. After you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, except where we must keep records (e.g. tax) by law.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or export your library. Email support@itsshowtime.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're in Australia and unhappy with how we handle a privacy matter, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

9. Children

ShowTime is intended for working musicians and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the latest version will be posted here with a new date above.
